Citizen Caine

I was born in 1982 in El Paso, Texas. I lived there my whole life and developed a love for music at an early age. My mother always played old soul records and my uncle had hip hop records. I remember he always used to play "I need a Beat" by LL Cool J, i think this is one of the first hip hop songs I learned every word to. I met DJ Flipcyide when I was in high school. Some kid knew I rhymed and gave me a flyer for a producer that was charging for studio time, it was Flip. I hooked up with him, payed for a few beats and eventually got picked up to his independent label. Shortly after that I met many hip hop groups from El Paso, including Tha Krookx, The Giantz, Shogun Elite and many others. It was when i met R&B singer Trill that I left Flipcyide Productions. Me and Trill went to Herban Records and formed a group with Prince Nobel and Armoni Scarsayzie called Herban Empire. We proceeded to do and album called "Life" that was never released, that's when me and Armoni Scarsayzie called it quits. Now I'm doing the independent thing, writing and producing tracks for my album "God'z Gyft" I'm also reunited and working with DJ Flipcyide again.
