14 years later...
CFS is long dead, but it still means more to me than almost anything musically I've done. Jason and I were never really trying for anything but to have a good time writing and recording music.
I think we did some cool stuff and what we brought out of each other was phenomenal. I've rarely felt anything that even comes close. We recorded a little bit a few years ago and it was just like we never stopped.
I'm still playing. I'll always be playing...

There are not different levels of "legitimacy".
Speaking generally of the concideration blindly sprawling toward one's approaching ideology. As well as the spiraling, rudementary ability of man, to perceive and distinguish the subject in question as an ever growing open mind.
Recognize that the subject itself is not capable of evolving. Even if one's ability to comprehend it may be.Band/artist history
as children, chris and jason created tapes full of all sorts of strange things. in 1998, chris recruited jason to play bass for a project he was working on. they recorded 7 songs together. after a year-long hiatus, they reunited as circle fears square...the result of a project to record a complete album together over a weekend. in january 2003 they self-released the e.p. "a running commentary of thoughts unformed". in august of that year, the two called it quits.
In 2012, the two reunited to write and record new music.
They didn't. They tried again a few years later. Still nothing.
Chris plays bass for Unformed Companion now. Check them out right here on soundclick. If you guys aren't signed and sharing your ideas with the rest of us, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
The ideas here are, unequivocally, the best I have ever heard.
That's the truth. You guys are beyond most.Endless PotentialGreat music!!!All comments (4)
