Church is a poet, spoken word artist, performance poet, writer, author, promoter, leader, organizer, friend and listener. Over the years Church has become a house and venue name. He breathes life into the mic, and captures all with his strong voice and word metaphors. Church is no stranger to the big stages. Performing with Def Poets Georgia Me, Abyss, John Goode, J.Ivy, Farraji Salim, Sonia Sanchez, & Red Storm and not to mention Queen Sheba, Minton Sparks, Nashville's own TIA and many more. Been performing for 15 years, with the band for 3yrs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I perform live all around the country. Right now I am in Raleigh, NC. Yes, I love it. Special moment: OPENING FOR MINTONSPARKS AT TPAC, AT SOLD OUT CROWD 257+ STANDING OVATIONS!
