Chunga's Revenge
I've been playing guitar badly for about 30 years now. Have played in several working bands in South Florida back in the 80s. Currently my job prevents me from any organized band as I travel too much. However, I do have a home studio and love to "play" when time permits.
Over the past 6 years, I've had the pleasure to join various blues bands onstage in Idaho, jam with a jam band in New York, and most recently played with Gary Small (google him) in Sheridan, WY at the Beaver Creek Saloon, Finkstinger in St. Mary's, OH, and John Lamb in Celina, OH.
I just set up this site to share some of my hacking.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Grew up on 60s and 70s rock, but digest just about any genre.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I guess anytime I play, I must be live. I'll sit in and ruin anyone's set if invited.
Your musical influences
Influences? Geez...from Duane Eddy, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Roy Buchanan, Frank Zappa, & Keith Richards through Walter Trout, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Chic Corea and Steve Vai.
What equipment do you use?
3 Carvin, 3 Fenders, 1 Line6, and 1 Parker guitar.
Traynor Custom Valve 80 on a 412T Carvin Cab. Carvin SX300, Tech21 Tradmark 120, Fender Champ, PodXt, Behringer V-Amp2.
Behringer Eurorack UB-1832FX-Pro mixer, Fostex MR-8 digital Recorder, Boss DR-880 & Alesis HR-15 drum machines.
Boss GT-8, Roland GR-20, Roland VG-88.
