Chuck Steak
Improvisation ; this is my favorite way to express myself through music. It catches your emotions at that exact second it is created, instead of playing something that was once written to express feelings but now is a memorized chord progression with memorized words
--the resulting problem is that you cannot "memorize" your emotions. That is why I, for the most part, improvise all of the recordings I post.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
As "chuck Steak" I do not gig, but with my real band we play at parties.
Your musical influences
Trey Anastasio (aka Phish), Madeski Martin and Wood, Charlie Hunter, Sublime. I don't like to stick to one genera of music. Eventhough I'm listed under the acoustic catagory, I hope to put some electric stuff up too.
What equipment do you use?
Takaminie G series acoustic, David Thomas McNaught electric, crappy Squire bass.
Anything else?
These songs don't have any real meaning; I actually do this for my entertainment. Just figured I'ld post some stuff to see what other people think.
