Chuck Puckett
I'm Chuck Puckett, and I hail from Decatur, Alabama. I've been a songwriter for way too many years, andI also write plays (musicals and straight plays). Most SoundClick material has been done solo, but I also in an eclectic string band called , and we do many of the songs I've written.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been writing and playing for 40 years. Bimini Road has been together about 15.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?

Your musical influences
Dylan, Garcia & Hunter, Kris Kristofferson, Paul Simon, Bob Marley, Lerner & Loewe, Rogers & Hammerstein, Aaron Copland, and on and on. I like melody, syncopated rhythms, and a story. A clever lyric never hurt anything, and neither did alliteration.
