CHROMATIC EXPERIMENT. New breed of rock in the Philippines. Our music can be classified as Rock.
The group was founded by the guitarist Carlo Bacalla who fell in love with the musical instrument (guitars) and started playing guitar when he was 10 and at that time, rock was on the height of the charts. He decided to pursue a career in music and personally took up a lesson under Maestro Jose Valdez and eventually molds him to become a teacher in Yamaha school of Music when he was 19. He used to practice 12 hours a day just to follow the path of his guitar heroes.
The band leader met young drummer, Marc Angelo Talag (taking up a music extension program in University of the Philippines ). Mac-Mac started playing drums when he was 5.
Chromatic Experiment absorbed Jherz Tejada as the front man of the group and by believing in his talents in singing. The vocalist was an engineering graduate who used to paint at his earlier times and has a great heart and passion of arts and music. Jherz is not a newbie in the local music industry, he has a great knowledge in organizing events, productions, and managing bands.
To complete the circle, the band choosed Bryan Espiritu to play the bass (also taking up a Music extention program in UP). He begun playing instruments when he still 12.
