for the official website, but scroll down first!!!!Band/artist history
Well, my old band is Daystar, who played in Atlanta for years. Now my solo career is booming. With selling out albums, requests for shows, and some radio play everything is looking good. I've been a musician since age 7 and writing since age 10. My first band was a punk band called The 28s, it was good, just not what I wanted, and I wrote everything..weird huh. Then on to Blak Majik, and C.O.D....then skipped over to some other bands until I created another great band DISCLOSURE and started an independent label from the band to market our stuff. We haven't played in years, but the name will be brought back one day,,,for what I don't know. The i met up with Jamie Warner, (lead guitarist for Daystar) and we did this show in which a great deal of people showed up for. We practiced once and it was all downhill from there....DAYSTAR was born...after some years of many shows, t-shirt sells, and other stuff we agreed to do our own thing.
As for me...I've put out three of my own albums and have been getting more and more attention as it goes along.Have you performed in front of an audience?I use to play around a great deal, especially with my old band Daystar. As for myself I've had some great shows. At my first solo show at Borders Music and Books in Douglasville, GA I had about 200 people show up in a small cafe corner. For now I am looking at different label options. Look for more info in the future about me playing live.
Your musical influences
Its like mixing Matchbox 20, Fuel, Alice In Chains, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and some extra alternative pop and making a John Mayer Pie. I've been compared to Counting Crows, Hootie and the Blowfish, Tonic, and Tabithas Secret. The best thing about it is my own emotional and created soundWhat equipment do you use?
Me, myself, my Fender guitar, my drums, my bass guitar, my PC, my sound system, my Crate Amp, my Danelectro Guitar, my acoutic, and all that other stuff I do in recording and live music.Anything else?
I am a Virgo and thats why the title of my second album is Virgo Rising, my first album was called Mirror Hotel. I created that title while on a trip in Helen, GA years ago. The meaning is two-sided. 1. As you look into a mirror, you either find emptiness or satisfaction, (vacancy or no vacancy) 2. You can really escape and get your best work done on a musical level outside of regular surroundings, but never forget to look in the mirror and forget who you really are. The third album is self-titled and totally acoustic, THE BEST YET. It's selef-titled because it shows the true musician in me unlike some previous attempts. No more questions pleaseAll comments (1)
