Christian Seith
A driving sound with an electric charge to it, that doesn't use a distortion pedal....and on an acoustic guitar no less!Band/artist history
I would live to evetnually form a band around material I have now and go from there, this band has been just me since 2005.
When I first decided to pursue music professionally, a friend of mine, Rhine "Tomas" Singleton, helped record the cd that I have now and he played lead on it as well, which adds so much depth to the songs and is why I definitely look forward to assembling a band.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I do! Mostly in the Washington, DC area but I have played out in Boston,MA; New York, NY; San Fran, and Berkeley, CA and Monteverde, Costa Rica
Your musical influences
I love the Dave Matthews Band!!! I definitely like some Johnny Cash and classics like that, along with Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and some Peter Gabriel. Oh, and a couple fellows named Big and Rich. Although it might be a tad cliche to say so, I do like a lot of different genres, and yes....even classical music and country music (though pop country is something that I could do with out)
I've been studying Jazz guitar for a few years now and look to continue studying it at a major university, so I've definitly gotten into icons like John Coltrane, Charlie "Bird" Parker, Miles Davis, King Oliver, Louis Armstrong...just to name a few powerhouses! What equipment do you use?
-Martin MARQUIS acoustic guitar strings gauge .012 - .054
-Fender Squire 6 string acoustic guitar
-Dean Markley ProMag Plus Acoustic Guitar PickupAnything else?
