Singer songwriter from Boston. Check out my band "Water for Ivan" at www.myspace.com/water4ivanBand/artist history
I was raised on the Ventures(60's instrumental band) while in my mother's womb..and introduced to a plethora of 50's and 60's music all by my father. However, I did not start playing an instrument until I was 18. I started playing drums by default(my dad was a drummer..and no one else had a drumset or a place to practice), but always wanted to sing and play acoustic guitar. So at 22,I moved to Boston from the Cape to become a Rockstar..I cofounded a progressive metal band called Fingerbomb. After realizing I sucked at drums and that the band would be better without me...I left to pursue a songwriting career...and that's where I am right now.Have you performed in front of an audience?Harper's Ferry, TT the Bears, Middle East, All Asia Cafe, Abbey Lounge
Your musical influences
Jump Little Children, Martin Sexton, Radiohead, M.Ward, Iron and WineWhat equipment do you use?
I use jedi mind control for my acoustic material and the flux compaciter for most of my electronica stuff.Anything else?

Hey all. If you're into Toad the Wet Sprocket, check out singer Glen Phillips solo record in stores 3-29-05 "Winter Pays for Summer". You can listen to bits of it here:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0007OY3RU/qid=1110990500/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-3950440-4600615?v=glance&s=music&n=507846
FYI - he's playing in Boston on 4-5 at Middle East (www.glenphillips.com) He won't be acoustic this time - full band, but it should be a good show. Blue Merle is opener.
