Christ'd - Out
CHRIST'd - Out...the gospel hip hop soldier who spits a GOD or die flow and bangs out heavy hittin beats.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started off as a secular rapper, (Kid Drastic) but as life progressed so did my music. After crossing over to gospel hip hop, I became "H20" and rapped with a group called "Soldiers For CHRIST", out of Liberty University. After we went our separate ways, I became a member of a Trio out of Liberty University called "4 Feet Deep". Soon the third person left the group, leaving me and my life long friend, Rao Rock(Brooklyn NY). I once again changed my name to "Virt2ousgame" and our group was called "Spotboom". After a few years Rao Rok and I decided to branch off. During that time I have faced the most difficult part of my life that I have ever faced. I have fallen many times. However, I'm determined to fight back with HIS WORD and my music. No matter what, I will not give up. So now...I'm "CHRIST'D - OUT"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes I play live at different youth events, churches, parks, or wherever my presence is requested. I like it but it also takes a lot of energy and focus. You have to try different things with different crowds.
Your musical influences
gospel rappers(Cross Movement, Corey Redd & Precise, Shekinah, and many more) Gospel singers, old school rap, classical, jazz, people like the Chi - Lites and Blue Magic, secular rap, underground rap etc. It's something that I can learn from all genres of music when it comes to delivery, arrangement, and style.
What equipment do you use?
