Chrissy Wareikis

Hey! My name is Chrissy, but you've probably figured that out already. I'm twenty-one-years-old and I began playing guitar at thirteen. I live in a suburb of Philadelphia.

Since 2003, I've been playing small open-mics with my good friend Raven. In February of this 2005, I took on my first open-mic solo and have done so several times since. It's a great feeling when all of the attention is on you for those few moments and the audience is just taking in your music. It's even a better feeling when the audience enjoys the music!

I have a long way to go with my vocal, instrumental, and songwriting talents, but for now, this is as good as it gets! It gets better everyday. This is what I love to do and I will fight with myself to become better at it.

Yes, I use to play open-mics at a very popular coffeehouse in this area called The Point, which is now closed. I played my first (and currently last) open-mic there. At that one, a lady who had performed before me came over to me after my performance to tell me that she really enjoyed it. It felt good!

I recently began playing at open-mic at Milkboy Coffee in Ardmore, PA.
