Chris Mitchell creates music at the rate most people breathe. Originally recording instrumental tracks he had three songs featured on an album which was presented to the Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, John Frusciante. www.johnfrusciante.com
After realising he might just be able to pull a few notes from his battered voice box he began singing at Maddens Bar in Antrim most Sundays...some say his ghost still wonders the stage around 10pm on those very energetic Sunday nights.
His recording style is heavily influenced by the likes of Joseph Arthur and John Frusciante, believing mistakes and one takes should be embraced rather than losing the energy of a song through time.
