Chris has collaborated with three-time Grammy winner John Wager, on the soundtracks for “The Eagle and The Rose” and “Ember from the Sun” books on audio cassette. Chris’ work includes music composing and performing on numerous soundtracks and his last two albums “WOPILA” and “PASSAGES”.
His abilities and integrity are respected by Native people and performers; opening for Kevin Locke, performing with Vince Two Eagles, The Porcupine Singers, Powhatan Swift Eagle and Juan “Pepe” Santana.
He was one of the featured performers at FESTIVAL MARIN VILLAGE 97 Martinique, French Antilles with the theme “Music of the Americas.” Chris has also completed a national tour, “PASSAGES TOUR 1997” of Barnes and Nobles Booksellers, in his continuing efforts to share.
His music transcends cultural, lines and becomes an experience of the living. To attend one of his concerts is to sense other times, other places: both Inward and Beyond. This is what the soul might sound like, if we could hear it speak. Close you’re eyes, open your heart, and let yourself go free. Chris’ music goes beyond the boundaries of our physical sense of sound and speaks to that silent place within all of us. It is the melding of body and spirit.
In his later years, Chris found similarities with the Native American culture and his own background (Italian and Greek), and began his journey, a journey that has brought him in contact with Native peoples from all over North and South America. He has learned many facets of their lives and shares extensively in an effort to give a greater understanding of the Native culture and of ourselves as human beings.Contact
