Chris Corrigan Presents Velvet Skies
From his early teens Belfast DJ/Producer Chris
Corrigan has played & held residencies
through out Belfast & Northern Ireland.
First starting his career as an MC, he has
played at local Clubs, under 18 events, he has played on both of Belfasts main radio stations
"Cool FM & Citybeat" as well as local community radio.
He won the Becketts DJ of the Year Competition in 2001 & was runner up the following year.
Chris also found time to run his own internet radio show called "TRANCE ATLANTIC AIRWAVES" which was broadcasted round the world on Orbitalgrooves.com based in Miami, USA which he is hoping to get back up & running in the near future.
Chris soon turned to the production side of the industry where he meet his fellow production partner DJ Mog.
After time in the studio they have seen their first release under their pseudonym "TATOE & TEASE - 32 Steps" gain massive support from top Jocks round the world like Space (Ibiza) resident DJ Javi Cannus, Judge Jules & Eddie Halliwell which both played numerously on their Radio 1 shows. Due to the massive support the track has now been signed up to GO DEEVA records in Italy & is due to be released very soon..
But Chris has also seen his own material which he produces under the alias "VELVET SKIES" gain quite abit of support.
His solo release "VELVET SKIES - EXCEL" was supported by Judge Jules & was even included in his Radio 1 show on the 23rd December 2006.
Chris's latest track "DEEPFLOAT" is gaining massive supoort & is currently being hammered by none other than TORSTEN FASSBENDER a.k.a. "WELLENRAUSCH". The track was featured on his radio show on Saturday 7th July 2007 along side some of the biggest names on then dance scence like Robert Nickson, John O'Callaghan, Filo & Peri etc...
As of late Chris is currently busy in the studio adding the finishing touches to remixes and putting together an artist album. So the future looks very bright for this young up & coming DJ/Producer.

Family inspire me greatly, also great producers like Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, John O'Callaghan, Sean Tyas, Torsten Fassbender.
