I loved listening to Wintertime. Being a lyric writer, I found yours unforced, natural. A difficult thing to achieve. Well done.

I just heard Chris Ayer on Sirius - Left of Center. I love A Starfish on the Front Yard!

I like the sound man. Especially "save the day" and "shiny nose." Fun stuff. You might like The Speechwriters LLC and the two early Vertical Horizon CD's, they sound similar. I wanna hear more banjo in some of those songs! Best wishes to you and your music.

quick review: I like undone and wintertime (the only ones I heard). Your voice is soothing and/or beautiful. But I thought wintertime was too long.

Playing at Parker, my school, for the first time make me think about going to boarding school for junior year again. I loved your lyrics and it reminded me that all the bad times may have a point and you just have to have hope in yourself to get where you want to get. You are beautiful in everyway. I'm at: MySpace URL: http://www.myspace.com/meredithsaprude and http://hs.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1138650089 tell me about yourself and how you got where you got besides what it say cause I want to know. It's so cool, mmhm. I love when you pat that guitar, and I'm a lefty too!

Chris's music reminds me of all that's good about being young: hope, discovery, idealism, youthful poignancy; all tied together with a sense of humor. Hard to pull off without cheesiness or pretension, but Chris does a great job on his cd and in performances. Music equally suited to listen to while you study, or listen to while driving with the windows rolled down, day or night.

Hey Chris thanks for checking out our page, but just wait for the real stuff to come! The beat on there right now is just my friend who plays piano so he's not too good at drums haha, but absolutely amazing at piano. Check back weekly and hopefully we'll have up some of our real stuff! Thanks!

All I can really say is wow.... Chris, has to be one of the best unsigned musicians I have ever heard. He should come down to Bloomington, IN and put on a concert here since we're a huge music town due to IU. People here would love his music. True talent right here.

i just wanted to let you know how much i truly loved these songs... your voice, the music, the lyrics-- all just seemed to fit together into something beautiful. also, the hope in these songs is something that seems to be missing from the world in general. so i want to thank you for that. it's a rare and precious thing. hang in there,

Chris may think he sounds like Jason Mraz, but Chris' songwriting craft is much tighter and boasts a much higher degree of sophistication than that of the Curbside Prophet. I'm keeping my ears peeled for more from the Cap'n Crunch Prophet.
