I'm a solo folk rock artist living in Brooklyn, NY... my music is influenced by folk, bluegrass, pop, soul, poetry, philosophy, and people.
Band/artist history
I've been writing music for 5 years now, and have spent the past year promoting my first EP, "static." I started out singing along to Elvis when I was 8, and played piano for a while. When I was about to graduate from high school, my dad bought me a left-handed guitar, and I started writing songs a couple months later. I moved to California for school, and I've been playing shows around the Bay Area ever since, writing as I go. Now that school's done, it's been all music, all the time. Finally.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Love playing colleges and parties, and coffee shops are my home.
Your musical influences
Influences are Paul Simon, James Taylor, Counting Crows, Bob Dylan, David Gray, Nick Drake, Dave Matthews, Ani Difranco, Nickel Creek, Ben Folds, Ryan Adams
My sound is similar to Jason Mraz, Ben Lee, Damien Rice and, I'd like to think, James Taylor.
What equipment do you use?
Gibson guitar, Goldtone banjo, handdrums, Piano (when I can find one)
Anything else?

Just stopping by to give your song a listen again.
I loved listening to Wintertime. Being a lyric writer, I found yours unforced, natural. A difficult thing to achieve. Well done.
I just heard Chris Ayer on Sirius - Left of Center. I love A Starfish on the Front Yard!
I like the sound man. Especially "save the day" and "shiny nose." Fun stuff. You might like The Speechwriters LLC and the two early Vertical Horizon CD's, they sound similar. I wanna hear more banjo in some of those songs! Best wishes to you and your music.

Liked Save the Day, but had a relisten to Wintertime and added to our station.
