Surge of Blood is brilliant. I have always been a big Arcturus fan... and of course Emperor as well... but I have yet to come across many people who are into Arcturus. They are truly a great band. Anyway, this song has everything... good guitar riffs, unique drumm loops, ambience, atomesphere, good vocals, and some weird transitions... like the one at about 5:35 and the following riff. After that part of the song up until about 7:20, the music seems to turn into some pretty technical chaos. As in, chaos achieved through what must have been some pretty serious thought and planning. I would be interested in hearing some of your other works... this is a really intelligent recording and there are not many (if any) people out there who could duplicate your sound.
