Chop DOZ
One Man Band named Chop D.O.Z, producer of a buncha good music and potential hits and such. At it for a while and it doesnt seem to stop so far. Just a cool kid who makes good stuff.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Not much
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Playing live isnt my thing at the moment, i'm more of an in-studio guy just makin' beats and ish most the day. As far as the liking it part, Yeah. Music is a part of me definitely so i'm cool bein' in the lab for hrs. makin' whatever comes to me. Ya know?
Your musical influences
Man, my musical influences.. definitely would have to include people like E-40 and a whole lotta' bay area rappers as just a home thing, 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Outkast, ya know, people with those beats and lyrics that just catch you on a quick one and have you into it. Producers like dre as i mentioned, Hi-Tek, Just Blaze, Swizz, they all contributed to the styl INVALID i got rockin' now.
What equipment do you use?
I use FL Studio Producer edition XXL, a drum machine and keyboard maybe every now and then. I try to keeps it simple though.
Anything else?
Well Not much but be on the lookout for a dude. That's me. Chop Doz. I puts it out and hope all can vibe with it so vibe wit' me one time! Couple of Instrumental mixtapes are in the works
