Internal Conflict Internal Conflict

The Fight The Fight
A piano and a synth pad battle for your attention over a light layer of drums, neither instrument land a major blow though.

the-breaks.com the-breaks.com
This is a beat I started for a competition on the-breaks.com, I didn't finish in time but I was happy with it. I pieced it together slowly, and this is the end result.

Drifting On A Pleasant Journey Drifting On A Pleasant Journey
It has a very entrancing guitar that carries throughout the whole track. The vocal samples are pretty easy to place, if you know good music.

The Shuffled Step The Shuffled Step
I got the idea from the many scratched drum patterns that DJs juggle and use, so I decided to make a clean version of a beat like that. The samples are the opposite as the cut out abruptly and then continue along smoothly.

A Trip Back A Trip Back
It sounds like a psych rock track pulled and distorted from the 60's, with it's simple beat and lofty guitar riffs. On the other hand though, it has heavy guitar chords too.

The Sequence The Sequence
I came up with the idea for this track by clicking one drum sound after another, after that it sounded like an early 90's Hip-Hop track. I added the synth after to finish off that early 90's sound.

The Film Score The Film Score
A dramatic, constantly flowing and changing beat. It makes you feel like you're in the action scene.

Back Straight, Shoulders Square Back Straight, Shoulders Square
Yes, I used the same sample as Terror Squad for "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah". This is what procrastination gets you. I made mine first before listening to Terror Squad's version.

Bassline Right Bassline Right
A catchy bass driven track that will make you nod your head, a slower tempo track.

Subtle Tone Subtle Tone
I used "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky to create a mellow, flowing track that is surprisingly a head nodder.

Don't Be Afraid To Move Don't Be Afraid To Move
Probably my most upbeat track, it's also on of my shortest at 2:50. Simple, smooth bassline with steel drums and an electric xylophone for the melody.

The Blend The Blend
I put two eras together, the organ and smooth bassline of the '70s and the start and go beat of the '80s. Make sure you have good low-end in order to fully hear the song.

Nod The Right Way Nod The Right Way
A simple guitar driven beat, with a organ thrown in to spice it up. Good for an upbeat, relaxed flow.

Overly Dramatic Overly Dramatic
Reminds me of a action movie scene, patterns within chaos. The intro at the beginning is interesting ahaha.

Party Flow Party Flow
Latin feel party flow with a tricked-out beat. Has a steady guitar pluck, to put you in a groove trance. Made for my friend, Scottfree. This is my first full-length track, it stood the test of time well.

Smooth Strut Smooth Strut
Smooth jazz beat with a walking bassline. Has a nice skat feel to the whole thing.
