Hip Hop producer coming from Saskatoon, Canada.Band/artist history
Started making simple patterns on Fruity Loops 5.0 two and a half years ago. They quickly turned into beats not long after that and I took on the production duties for a Hip Hop group from Saskatoon. I gained some good knowledge of producing with live vocals on the track during that year. The group disbanded not too long ago and since then I've been shopping around my beats and trying to get ahead in the music industry.Your musical influences
I always was interested in turntablism and sampling, specifically DJ Premier. Seeing him spin and take vocal samples while scratching on a beat just got me more into the music. As far as sampling I like the way Kanye West as well as others (Boon Doc, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, RZA, Classified, etc.) have taken other music and made it their own.What equipment do you use?
