  The CDSS concert band is known to be a music-making group that is always eager to explore new or creative ways in music-making. Besides working hard for the bi-annual Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Concert Bands and school functions like the Annual Speech and Prize Presentation Day, the band also diversifies its music-making efforts to include STOMP and samba percussion routine in its repertoire. 

The Stomp Troopers, a subset of the band focuses on music-making using everyday items. Started in 2003, it is now a distinctive feature in the school, where members make use of items like the trash cans, pails and laundry tubs to make music. The STOMP Troopers have performed widely for the public including the 2003 PAP Community Day, the 2006 MILKRun and the 2006 Media Development Authority (MDA) Appreciation Lunch.

In 2005, the band embarked on a yet-another unique repertoire - samba percussion. The thirteen-member group, Los Trece Castaòa has never failed to bring the house down with their nifty footwork and catchy percussion beats during their performances!

In year 2004, we held a concert at Singapore Conference Hall [SCH]
called 'MUSICAL ODYSSEY' n what??
WE HAD OUR OWN STOMP!!!

The concert was a big success...

Then we were busy for our offically opening... And we had our very own samba band... cool rite?

Know wad? We were even invited to mediacorp to perform stomp... it was so fun...
