I am a composer/pianist. My passion has always and will always be music. It is in every fiber of my existence. It is that place of quiet, passion, excitement, fulfillment for my life. My husband has been my greatest ally and rock.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tranquil Waters Music / cheryl b. officially began at the age of 5, but was formally formed in July, 2007. A simple act of playing for a Burn session in Tulsa, OK because a band didn't show, sparked and lit a fire deep within that only burns stronger each moment.
One minute it was a Yamaha self-contained piano (given away) and then the search for the right piano was underway. And now, 1.5 years later, I am sitting in my own studio with a MAC, keyboards, Protools, copiers, and friends that I never would have met otherwise. At the age of 54, I am living my dream. Let's make that the beginning of a dream because there's much more to come.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I like playing in my studio most of all. For years, I played live in churches and venues. I loved it, but for now, I am content to compose and play in my studio. A special moment was 1.5 years ago, when I began to compose, play and record after a 3 year hiatus. It has not been the same since and I never want it to stop.
