Tranquil Waters Music / cheryl b. officially began at the age of 5, but was formally formed in July, 2007. A simple act of playing for a Burn session in Tulsa, OK because a band didn't show, sparked and lit a fire deep within that only burns stronger each moment.
One minute it was a Yamaha self-contained piano (given away) and then the search for the right piano was underway. And now, 1.5 years later, I am sitting in my own studio with a MAC, keyboards, Protools, copiers, and friends that I never would have met otherwise. At the age of 54, I am living my dream. Let's make that the beginning of a dream because there's much more to come.

For years, I played live in churches and venues. I loved it, but for now, I am content to compose and play in my studio. A special moment was 1.5 years ago, when I began to compose, play and record after a 3 year hiatus. It has not been the same since and I never want it to stop.
