Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Chemical Sunset are a four-piece band based in Totton near Southampton. The band consists of George Carter (Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Liam Baker (Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals), Nick Lloyd (Drums) and George Hardy (Bass Guitar). The lads are aged 13 and 14 and all attend Testwood Sports College in Totton. They formed in January 2006, initially as a 3 piece band and played their first public performance in February 2006 at a 60th birthday party. This was followed up by playing at a 16th birthday party in April 2006. Shortly after this, George Hardy joined the band. They continued to add to their play list and regularly performed at the school in assemblies and at the end of year summer concert. During this time George C and Liam also performed an acoustic duo of the Bon Jovi classics Livin’ On A Prayer and Wanted Dead Or Alive at the Testwood Sports College Talent Contest and won first prize.
