Bassballs with trimpot mod tweaked as I play. Sensitivity left in one position until the last 20 seconds of clip. Distortion switch thrown on at about the one minute mark. All other tweaking is with the trimpots moved to the outside.

I modded a DOD FX-25b with what I call an 'oscillation' mod. I can still get traditional flanger sounds, but can also get really over the top synthy oscillations. I got these sounds with a Peavey Patriot bass.

Some slap and finger style. All EQ set to 12 o'clock. First run through bypassed. Then on the California setting: gain at 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock, then 3 o'clock, adjusting the level to try to maintain unity. Same on Brit, and then on Tweed.
