Almost all of my compositions tell stories without words, taking the listener on a journey through acoustic landscapes both real and imaginary. My arrangements are anchored by improvisational piano, layered with acoustic winds and strings from the Roland sample library. I enjoy improvisational work immensely because when I start recording I have no idea what musical territory I may end up exploring. 98% of the piano notes in my improvisational recordings are the same exact notes that flowed from my delirious brain during the very first recording session.
Band/artist history
I injured both of my hands about fifteen years ago (carpal tunnel syndrome) and even after surgery and physical therapy there was real uncertainty as to whether I would ever play an instrument again. So be careful out there, .
