Hi, My name is Charmi, I'm a solo artist. I do wish to have a band but you know it is very hard to gather and find people who have the same level of enthusiasm as you have and it is also difficult to find people who have the same interest in music as yours. If ever you do find one or know someone, either only two members are serious (hmm? not naming names) or it ends up to be a one time thing (haha!). Therefore, I have decided to make it on my own.. Just kidding! Not really, in fact I'm trying to form another band with my friends. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll have an official one.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Ya before way way back. I like it! Special moment would be whenever I get to perform. I just so love singing may it be in front of an audience, with a live band or simply inside the bathroom.
Your musical influences
Well I listen to almost all types of music except heavy metal rock. Definitely a lot of oldies as my Dad had a lot of longplayings during my childhood. He would play the likes of Spinners, Beatles, The Emotions etc. every morning. A lot of OPM ballads as well as I sang most of them during my childhood days haha. Hence, my songs are mostly mellow with guitar or piano accompaniment. I tried doing some chill out recently but I still have to do better.
