Chameleon (UK)
Like the name suggests, our skin changes colour during mating season and when we feel threatened....no, thats not right, what was it again...oh yeah, we like to adapt our music as a chameleon does.
From the fevered brains of two welsh brothers came Chameleon, a collective that excites the audience with their mix of jazz, blues and soul (if we must categorise their music!). They combine the earthiness of blues and soul with the experimental elements of jazz.
By bringing together the tight rhythm section of Osian Owens (Bass) and Richard Bateman (Drums), along with the guitar of Dafydd Owens, Chameleon take you through their looking glass and let you feel the music the way they feel it. So, if you want an electric band and good times then give Chameleon a try!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are at our best live! We play around theMaidenhead area, although we have been known to play in North Wales (the bass player and the guitarist are originally from North Wales!)
