C/E Project
C/E Project is an experiment in spontaneity. We take a line or two, and make something out of it just to see what happens. Naturally, it becomes less and less spontaneous as it is refined and eventually may become unrecognizable from its initial form, but, hey, ya gotta start somewhere!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We met each other twenty-some years ago and played in various groups together. During this time, we developed a mutual respect for each other. As co-producers on the Fancy Teresa recordings, we found ourselves in the studio. Dragging out a couple of ancient bass lines, we put some pieces together to form "Don't...Know!" which, to date, is the only thing we've finished.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play "alive", but the only people who hear us are the ones who stumble in while we're working.
