It's been awhile since I was here ! Noticed your post in new song thread.....first one for a long time !
Well at least this tune was worth waiting for ! What I like is the 80's atmosphere here.....realy takes me back to those days ! Your singing is solid as ever, instrumentation....tight ! Clever intro...lovely refrain !
Compliments for all the guitarwork ! The mix sounds good ! Senior Britpop pur sang....excellent genre !

Thanks for your kind remarks. I'm listening to "If I Close My Eyes." It has a really nice vibe to it. There are a lot of nice elements; what I most like is the feeling of space. All the instruments have this tasteful sharing of the aural space. Very cool.

Your music is rooted in the 80's i.m.h.o. ! Icehouse & Silent Running are bands that pops up in my mind ! Absolutely nothing wrong with that !

"24 hours away" is a classic - I recently downloaded it for my car stereo. I am a huge fan of 80s/90s R.E.M., and it reminds me of some of their Reckoning-era music. Even your name reminds me of them, as they had a tune called South Central Rain.
