Born in May 2011, Central Park is a group of two Zambian artists (Jolnz and The Foe) and a Russian artist (Young Brilli). Central Park was influenced by Nas, Rakim, Mos Def, Wu tang clan and KRS 1 to mention a few. For Central Park, their music is not just hip hop, its a channel, through which they show their love, for all that care to listen!!
Band/artist history
Central Park was born in May 2011, in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don. The Foe and Jolnz are students at separate universities in that city while Young Brilli was born there.

Nas, KRS 1, Mos Def, Rakim, Wu tang clan, Big daddy kane, Dr. Dre, DJ premier, The Roots and Dilated Peoples to mention a few, and in no specific order.

Music is a way of life, a vessel through which love, hate, history, propaganda, wisdom, foolishness and many other things can be transferred. We as Central Park try our best not only to use this great weapon in the right way, but also to portray the word in its truest form to the multitudes. Our music may not always be squeaky clean and suitable for all ages, but it will always be worth the name HIP HOP.
