Hey CF: I'm all in favour of Freedom...not sure about this socialist thing, but you're closer to it than I. Just a note to let you know I'm enjoying these irish melodies even now. If I hear one that really stands out, I'll add it to my A VARIETY OF SOUNDS station...but I'm really picky :) Stop by for a visit if you care to. Ed

Hi - I'm new to this forum and I'm looking forward to being part of the group. I'm a huge fan of Michael Londra, who was the lead voice of Riverdance on Broadway and the Passion of the Christ Symphony. He has a stunningly beautiful voice. If you stop by his website at www.michaellondra.com , you can listen to some sound clips. There are also soundclips of some of the songs from his new album on LML Music that you can listen to - http://www.lmlmusic.com/product.php?id=LML-CD-194 . I'd love it if you'd take a minute to listen to him and tell me what you think. You can hear the contemporary influences of Brian Kennedy and Enya. One of the things that I love about this album is that Michael hasn't only included traditional Irish classics but also quite a few of his own modern compositions. His original songs will soon take their rightful place in the world of Irish music. I think the traditional song that struck me the most on this album is "She Moved Through the Fair". I've

Hello, I live in San Francisco and have been collecting Irish and Scots folk and traditional music most of my life. Thanks for "The Orange, White, and Green" When all else was lost, it was the re-birth of traditional music that kept the spirit of Irish freedom alive. I also enjoyed "the Fenian Record Player" and I have a question. Was the inspiration for this song a reply to the Orange song "The Old Orange Flute"? The Lyrics to the Fenian Record Player had me rolling on the floor. Thanks Hugh

I just posted my new song, "The Sixth Sense" Earlier I had posted an instrumental version of the song, but this version has the vocals. I hope that you'll stop by and check it out. I think that I'm going to re-do the first verse. I have a terrible cold, and on the first verse it sounds very nasal so please excuse that. I hope that you enjoy it! You might like to check out the lyrics as that's what my music is all about. Have a great day and God bless! Love and Peace, Beth
