Celestine USA
First and foremost, I give all the glory and honor to the Lord who made this whole thing possible. Since childhood, I've always dreamed to do something for the Lord through music. Then I met my husband Michael, who happens to be a musician and writes songs, I really believe it was guided by the Holy Spirit and I couldn't be happier to have it finally come true.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
This is really my first band.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I play live... Usually in churches. Special moment? It has to be when my song touches people and inspires them in a very special way.
Your musical influences
We're more into classical, folk, progressive rock. It's a little taste of everything, I think.
The Carpenters, Jaci Velasquez, kathy Troccoli, Twila Paris.
What equipment do you use?
We use a Yamaha Motif XS8 and S90, Roland and Moog synths, and Hammond organ. I use the Neumann U87 and B.L.U.E. baby bottle mics in the studio .
Anything else?
When I was little, I had always loved listening to The Carpenters and Anne Murray music. I love ballads and melodic tunes, but when I met Mike, I became a fan of progressive and classical music, so I think our music blends together in a very interesting way...
