Band/artist history
Cedric Fulmore, Ced tha Done, was born in Brooklyn, New York in the notorious Fort Greene Projects. He began M.C.ing around the age of 13, and has been doing it every since. Inspired by local brothers in the hood he began entering every cypher and battling everyone trying to be the nicest M.C. "Hip-Hop is the greatest gift I could have ever recieved. Every beat for me holds a voice engaging me into conversation. This allows me to discuss my problems, dreams, like/dislikes, fears, and love. I paint pictures with words." He attended Brooklyn Technical High School which consisted of students from all five Burroughs of New York City. He continued destroying rappers, forming friendships, and visiting different neighborhoods. His reputation as an M.C. magnified, and soon found a crew called the Renaissance Family. During his time with them he created a mix tape, and underground classic "Trinidadian Girl". Upon graduating high school he decided to attend college. After moving to Florence, South Carolina, he attended Francis Marion University, for two years. Although he excelled in college, his heart still fiend for music. He desires to teach the world through his music, which he refers to as "Ceducation". He has performed on college campuses, various clubs e.g. (Bently's, Mr. B's), local National Guard Armies, Darlington Drag Strip, and numerous other venues. "I always feel at home when a microphone is resting in the palm of my hand. Now with my new family, Kommon Folk, I finally reached my climax for perfection during my stage performances. My time is now..."
