CDR Records also known as (Chocolate Daddy Records) Is a major recording label that was founded in New orleans but now based in Hollywood,CA. CDR Records was founded by legendary producer Jamal Thompson!. CDR Records is responsible for successful acts such as King Gangsta, Killa Doggy, Young Hector, Blood Cracker, Hardy Baller, Shanice Clarence and many more great artists who have achieved thousands of record sales and even gold records. CDR is most known for it's competitive rivalry with Cash Money Records and Master-P's label No Limit in the 90's. Like Birdman and Master-P CDR records founder jamal Thompson also has a successful son that is a rapper named "King Gangsta' Who has had multiple albums and mixtapes and in 2004 recieved a gold record for selling over 500,000 copys of his album. CDR Records is one of the most known and well respected labels in Los Angeles and can help you achieve mainstream and underground success with all of its artists being financially well off.
