Caution (PA)
hello everyone, we are caution and we're a rock group from outside of philadelphia, pa.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
this is where i tell you who we are. we are a band, and our name happens to be caution. that was john’s idea. john’s main role in the band is that he is the lead singer. he also writes most of the lyrics. furthermore, he has played piano, but now is instrumentally relegated to guitar.
why would we limit john to guitar? We decided on that course because konrad is an exceedingly talented piano player, and decided to join the band a few years ago. you can also hear him singing backup vocals in many of our songs. he’s a good kid, generally.
joe plays drums and excels at it. he and john are pretty much the co-founders of caution, so they’re kind of a big deal. john tells us that “the tribute” is in fact a tribute to joe, but we aren’t so sure.
you’ll also notice the bass in caution songs. that’s andrew’s doing. he joined the band sometime before konrad did, but after joe and john started it. i’m pretty sure he picked up bass around the time that he joined the band, and he’s turned into quite a good one.
i’m neil. i play lead guitar. that’s all i do, mostly because i can’t sing. i also have been managing the web page and that kind of stuff (the first person speech should make that pretty obvious). we five make up the entirety that is caution. that is all.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
we live in blue bell, pa. though we are spread out now. we are at arizona state, penn state, la salle, drexel and princeton.
