I'm a poet and emcee based in Orange County, California on unceded Gabrieliño-Tongva land. Inspired by the power of community and artistic expression, my goal is to incite independent thought and revolutionary growth.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've written poems since childhood, performed spoken word for the last 10 years, and have pursued writing in the stream-of-consciousness style that's led me to the art of freestyle rap. I speak on personal growth, social justice, and the human experience. Through vulnerable connections and empowered expression, we can rise beyond oppressive systems and claim our power.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I've frequented venues across Southern California and also performed in Boston. My favorite memories performing are from spontaneous hip hop cyphers with friends in East LA.
