A truly unique Alternative Rock band from the far reaches of New England. Well known for the fluency of their live performance and uncompromising power in the studio, Catatonyc is a force that keeps the spirit of rock music alive and kickin'.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jared Moody (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Adam Brown (Lead Guitar/vocals) have been writing and recording their original music since the age of 14. Through the years they have both been in a variety of rock bands including about 85% of them as co-members. They live in the town of Dixfield Maine and are comprised of 2 other memebrs Chad Frisbie (drums) and Ken Sprague (bass/vocals) of Rumford and Wilton Maine. The band was formed as Catatonyc in October of 2003
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are a live band! Performance is our strongest ability, and all that you hear of us online are actual live sound recordings. We are basically performing in the Maine and New England areas.
