Carrie Pazdziora
The musical equivalent of a warm cup of coffee on a rainy day.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My life began in a small southeastern town where the fields run green but the blues are at your heals. There I learned to dream of something greater, so eventually I packed my bags, grabbed my guitar and hit the road for the big city. Now I pine for the stillness I once had, but I'll try to do the best I can in the place I brought myself. I'm still a starving artist, but I'm still believing that a dream will one day put food on the table.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. Currently in the Chicagoland area. Previously in towns across the southeast: Edenton, NC; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA. As well as a few cafes throughout the south of France and Paris.
Your musical influences
Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Julie Andrews, Jill Phillips, Eva Cassidy, Karen Carpenter, Sara Groves, Hannah Westphall, Cecilia Bartoli, Alison Krauss, Kristyn Getty, Keely Smith, Sarah McLachlan
