Sensational female vocals portray beautiful depth and emotion within smooth, sensual productions of unique Electronic/Popular songs. Carla's amazing voice has been compared to some of the top divas such as McLachlan and Enya in her reviews.
Band/artist history
Carla now works full time as a producer/performer and along with experienced engineers joined forces to create an independant music company called Melodrift Productions which not only markets and helps Carla's work but helps promote other artists starting in the business through the official website melodrift.com Of her own attitude towards music she tells us:"I have never felt the need as an artist to exploit areas of myself which I feel have no relevance to what I am and can achieve. I am often shocked and saddened by artists' today who seem to prefer to trade in their integrity and respect for more materialistic values. I have always wanted to maintain modesty and respect by being down to earth and never reaching too high in my expectations. What is there to prove when you already know who you are?"... Her debut album is due to be released in the New Year, solely written and produced by her and co-engineered by Charlie Moore.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've played live for many years. From glamorous casino's to small restaurants. Each place holds a special memory and moment.
Your musical influences
Enya, Alannis Morissette, Bette Midler, Aretha Franklin, all the powerful voices from the last few decades.
What equipment do you use?
For electronic type songs I use Spectrasonics Atmosphere.
Anything else?
It's a great privilege to have worked with so many wonderful people inside and outside the industry. I carry many beautiful memories of my experiences that have no monetary value. As for my new page here on Soundclick! Well, I'd rather that anyone who stumbled upon it enjoy what I have produced, that is why I make music in the first place. I'm not here to scramble up a chart ladder.
