The influences are definitely Prog, but I noted a touch of Mark Knopfler in the lead work at 2:30 to 2:50 and some pop influences from the 80's.
Excellent tune.

I just had a nice little streaming mp3 party here on your page, Gary! Really love Connected and Eye Of The Storm. Both excellent compositions, and the guitar work is outstanding!

WHEW!!! 2 GREATS in one day.....doesn't happen much. I occaisionally post in the "Rock" forum and found you in the "Prog" thread. No doubt, you've got it ALL together. Yes...."Holy crap, you rock"!! Listened to "Eyeof" and loved it. Now listening to "Morpheus X"...VERY well put together. It rocks from start to finish and never loses interest. LOVED your bass riffin'.....Glad I found ya!!
