Capsacium Records, my goal in music right now is basically just to keep putting out fresh sounds particularly in the Jungle/Drum and Bass Scene. I like to experiment with new things and conventional sounds as long as they stay fun. Most of my work is influenced by old school Jungle and mid 90's hip-hop (the beatz were so much cooler back then).
Much Respect to ARS Records in NYC, and Winternettt Kru in D.C. http://www.winternett.com/home.html
Enjoy the tunes, any input is greatly Appreciated. RespeK!Band/artist history
My history, I started making beats a while back and I'm still doing it. There history.Have you performed in front of an audience?Right now I basically drop tunes with the local goons. Don't play anywhere live and don't intend to anytime soon. Special Moments- hmmm.. I have alot of fun recording with other artist, MC's, Vocalist, Live Instuments Ect. I'd say those are the special moments.
Your musical influences
said before, Ol'Skool Jungle and Hip-Hop, Datcyde, Ackshun Jackson, Yellow Note, Roni Size, Asian Dub Foundation, Jedi Mind Tricks, MF Doom, THe Beatnuts, The Roots, Wax PoeticWhat equipment do you use?
The backbone is mos'def Reason 2.5, I also use Recycle 2.1, Pro-tracks, Cakewalk, Digitech VX 400 vocal effects processor, RoKit 5 studio monitors and my handy dandy SOny Vaio 420 to run all that stuff.Anything else?
Mainstream Hip-Hop's in a shit state of affairs these days, wouldn't you agree? It says something about our taste as a society when the real cool stuff can't be marketed cause it doesn't sound retarded enough. Dig around, theres cool artist out there, just not on the top 40, buncha'herbz.Holy sh*** another DnB head reppin DC! Man, I remember when Winterman was still doin zion @ u-turn. haha, good times. Well it's about damn time I came across someone on soundclick. you got some decent tunes too man. I'll be back for more later, but I like the jazz track already. Check my sh*** out if you get a chance and let me know if you wanna do any sort of collab.
