Cap Gun Suicide is from Eugene, Oregon, and will tastefully rock your ass with music that's been labeled as "punk", "power pop", and "progressive punk". Your guess is as good as ours as to why it's been labeled that.Band/artist history
Cap Gun Suicide's history is far too convoluted to document here, so here's a quick primer with just the current members:
Danny and Jesse moved to Oregon from Las Vegas and started the band. Shortly thereafter Etzel joined. A few years later Ben hopped on board. The End.Have you performed in front of an audience? We play all over the west coast and plan on branching out in the future. Let us know if you like our music and we'll try and make a stop at your town sometime.
Your musical influences
This is an oversimplified classification, but we sound similar to NoFX, A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against, Strung Out, and Propagandhi. We may not sound like any of those bands to you, so feel free to let us know who think we sound like. (To save you some time, we have already heard "like ass" and "like dragonforce, but better", so don't bother with those)
We all listen to a lot of music, so subsequently we have a lot of influences and interests:
A Dozen Furies, A Wilhelm Scream, Bad Religion, Beastie Boys, Beck, Botch, C.K.Y., Coheed & Cambria, Darkest Hour, Face To Face, FACT, Foo Fighters, Fu Manchu, Fugazi, Hawaiian 6, Hi-Standard, Horse The Band, The Impossibles, Lagwagon, Living Legends (Aesop Rock, Murs....), Megadeth, Metallica, Minor Threat, Near Miss, Nirvana, No Use For A Name, NOFX, Oneshotonekill, Only Crime, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Pennywise, Poison The Well, Primus, Propagandhi, Queens Of The Stone Age, Rise Against, Rush, Sepultura, Slayer, Smile, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Strung Out, Suicidal Tendencies, System of A Down, Thrice, Testament, Tool, The Slackers, Van Halen, Weezer, and more!!!!!!Punky ROck

Pretty good stuff. Sounds like No Use For a Name, and really would fit in with any of the Fat Wreck Chords stuff.Listening to Sunnyside Up, pretty kewl, every once in a while there will be settle mistakes with time, especially during face drum fills or changing drum styles, but nothing big, let me know when you guys play live, I just moved down here. Oh and check out my page when you can - love the ending of the song, electric drum sounds, awesome, anyways yeah let me know what you think of my music, it's different but should give you some ideas, who knows, laterz! All comments (3)
