Welcome to the official can7say channel. Founded in 1995 in Wuppertal, Germany (originally with Frank Hunold), Oliver Weber has been leading the project as songwriter and producer since 1998.
The sound is a tribute to the electronic spirit of the 90s deeply rooted in Synthpop reminiscent of Depeche Mode, blended with Darkwave elements and melancholic pop melodies. From "Walking in Dreamland" (1997) to "The Sound of my Soul" (2023) and the latest release "Walk with me again" (2026), the philosophy remains the same:
In an era of polished, AI-generated tracks, can7say intentionally embraces rough edges and raw emotion. It’s not about technical perfection, but about conveying the real values and feelings that life writes. A non-commercial project by heart: all songs are self-produced and available for free on Bandcamp.
