Cambyo
As long as I can remember, which is back till about third grade, I've been writing "music" not just rhymes. I didn't start taking it seriously until about junior year in high school when I met Jay. He's like my mentor and big brother in the rap game. We got in the studio a couple of times until I had earned up enough money to buy my own equipment and begin working on my own.
I still have a lot to learn, of course, but I believe that with time I could be someone you'd hear on the radio. Straight up! Like Jibbs (yeah, chain hang low Jibbs!) once told me, " You gotta be dedicated and confident about your craft." Confident..very. Dedicated..ask me again in 5 years.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've had some live performances yes. I love it!!! If I had to choose one, it would have to be opening for M.O.V.'s Diversity Through the Arts show at College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL.
Your musical influences
A better life for my family and I is the motivation. There are many artists who influence me and to be honest I can't think of any order to put them in, so... If I had to choose who is my greatest musical influence, I'd have to say Lupe Fiasco. LASERS!!!
What equipment do you use?
I record/mix/edit using Pro-Tools in my home studio I built in my basement.
Anything else?
Shout out to all my family from Park City! L.N.S. WADDUP! We do it... boy!!!
