Camaro
August 19th,2005- So, not a whole lot to say here. Well what i have to say is big pertaining to the band, we've had a name change. From Grey Matter was too close to another band from Cambridge, Dark Matter, so the name has been changeed to A Taste Of Atrocity. Im starting a page on soundclick no, just so i can do the updates there instead of here. SO this'll be the last message on this site, until about a month before i take it down. SO yeah, check us out at the "A Taste Of Atrocity" site. wear pants!Band/artist history
Many years ago, three to be exact, in a far away land, there were three musicians who wanted to make music that was not heard all the time. These three souls were, Keith, Terrence and Josh, mysterious forces led them to each other and they decided to start a band. They found a lead singer, but he wasn't exactly what they were looking for, they remained a jam band for the next year, during this time the lead singer parted ways and they needed to find a vocalist. Keith was a sound and lighting tech for a band called Eye Rhyme, the drummer for that band, Jimmy Porter, had a friend he worked with that he had jammed with on one occasion and knew that this friend was looking for a band to sing for. So at an Eye Rhyme show at Whiskey Jack's in Kitchener, Jimmy introduced Jim to Keith and they decided to give it a try. Not too long after Jim jammed with Camaro, and they decided it was a fit. From that point on Camaro was no longer a jam band they had a direction and they were serious. Eventually Josh and Camaro decided an amiacble split would be best for the band, thus begining what has been a near two year hunt for a solid replacement. THen ten months ago
Terrence decided it was time to move back to his hometown and Camaro was left with another, and it's biggest hole. After trying one bass player who didn't seem to work out, Jim decided to ask his old bandmate from his first and second bands, 'Downwynd' and 'Prodd'. Junior was a guitarist in those bands but decided he would be cool with playing bass. So now we have once agian three pillars in our band, now we look for the fourth and final. Junior is working out great and the future looks very bright.Have you performed in front of an audience?Due to an endless change of drummers we still have not been able to play our first show. I have played live in other bands and so have the other memebers and there's nothing else on earth like it.
