C5 Biography The Band C5 was formed in the mid to early 90’s off Atlantic Blvd, we had to practice in an airplane Hanger of guitarist Christopher Booras’ father, and the number on the hanger was “C5” so that is where the name came from. Since that time as bands usually do, members change unfortunately because of re-location for jobs and such. C5 has played popular .energetic cover tunes since the beginning and this tradition continues today. The bands main influences include, Seether,bush,Tool,3 doors down, Green day and Fuel just to name a few. We are working and originals as well that you will definitely hear an alternative sound as well. Since the band has been together, we have played many private parties, the “walk for life” for a local high school, Endo Exo, Tijuana flats and most recently the Jacksonville Landing. The band consists of five experienced musicians beginning with the groups founder Christopher L Booras on guitar, he continues to be the driving force behind C5, Jim O’Callaghan plays Drums, Jim played for 4 years at Auburn University and eventually joined a band named Fausch, Jim played with them for many years throughout south Alabama and The Florida panhandle. Jon Evans is the Lead singer, who joined the band after a few short weeks of moving from West Virginia, Jon as our front man has been described as fun, upbeat and energetic. Roger Menze joined the band in 2004 as our Bassist, ever though Roger is a guitarist at heart, Nate Dickinson joined the band playing guitar , Nate has played locally as a solo artist, sitting in between sets for local bands, Nate also sings and does backup vocals. C5 prides itself in providing top-notch band equipment and we are able to provide our own lights and PA for Sound.
