We're a Metalcore band from Joliet Illinois.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
By All Means was formed in 2005 in the city of Joliet Illinois by guitarist Alex Felker and drummer Keith Nelson. After their previous band fell through they went in search of a bassist and vocalist. They found them in vocalist Justin Almazan and bassist James Bush. Justin and James were long time friends of Alex and played with him in previous bands. Once they joined the fold chemistry did the rest of the work. Everyone clicked instantly, they all knew what the other was thinking. After only a month of being a band By All Means unveiled their unique Metalcore sound at a headlining gig. That was just a taste of what was still to come. In June of 2005 By All Means entered the studio with produced and friend Dave Crimmions to record the 3 song e.p. Black is What I Bleed. After playing more and more shows By All Means has become a crowd favorite at local shows. They have the ability with their energetic and intense live shows to win over fans no matter who they came to see. By All Means has also become a band favorite with other musicians. By All Means makes it their mission to make some of the heaviest music around and create a live show thatll leave you with something to talk about. The only way to truly describe the sound of By All Means is to think what would happen if Hardcore and Metal got into a head on collision and become one brutal force.

We play live anywhere and anytime. We love to play live. Our favorite Moment was the garage show.
