BVALANO
Without a doubt one of the new promising R&B artists that will hit the industry is Bvalano. The total package: the passion, voice, the songs, the intelligence, the soul, and the charisma of a true star.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Hailing from San Diego, CA he was always intrigued by the writings, melodies, and production of music. “On the way to football, and basketball games I would listen to Bones-Thugs-n-harmony, Busta Rhymes, A tribe called quest, Goodie Mob, 2 Pac and Jay Z. I think at times my style can be very eclectic ranging from R&B to Gospel.” says Bvalano. Eventually he would go on to DJ at his high school and enter and win local talent shows, festivals and other city and school events.
Upon finishing high school, Bvalano moved to Los Angeles to focus solely on music. Out of his own pocket, he attended the Los Angeles Recording Workshop and began collaborating writing lyrics, arranging, and composing songs with other local artists, producers, and studios creating a buzz throughout the Los Angeles area. Most importantly, Bvalano has been busy perfecting his own soulful premiere.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played live at the House of blues in San Diego, Plush Room, The Joint and the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles. I also got the honor of performing at the Soul Cafe in New York.
I love performing introducing my art to new audiences every where. Also the sound of my band gets more and more incredible each and every performance.
Your musical influences
Im influenced alot by old school artists. IE Baby Face, Atlantic Starr, Ginuwine, Al B sure, Luther Vandross etc .... with up to date influences such as Jay Z, Goodie Mob, Kanye West etc...
What equipment do you use?
I gotta have a Triton Work Station/Keyboard around me, oh yeah and Im feeling the neuman mics really nice sounds.
Anything else?
Yo just wanna show love and appreciation to all of the real and dedicated artists. And by artists I mean those who are not in the music game for money but because they have a passion for the art of music and becuase music is in their soul...
